I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist with a Masters in Gestalt Therapy and a Masters of Sexology.  I have over 20 years experience in health care, trained both as a Registered Nurse as well as a Chinese Medical practitioner.  

This has provided me with a holistic approach to therapy and a deep understanding of the mind/body connection.   

During my years in health care,  I became aware that many professionals were uncomfortable or ill-equipped to work with issues around sexuality. For the past 10 years I have been committed to studying and researching the topic of sexuality to support individuals and couples to explores issues related to sexual pleasure, intimacy and eroticism.

I have also undergone training in Somatic Experiencing, which is a pioneering body awareness approach to healing trauma. It focuses on experiency the 'felt sense' in the present moment to relieve the physical, emotional and physiological effects of post traumatic stress disorder and other stress and trauma-related health problems. It is a highly effective form of therapy for working with trauma, anxiety and depression,
